Lights Out I: Covers county and state utility assistance resources and programs.
 
Lights Out II: Covers nonprofit and corporate programs to promote energy conservation.


Track B1: Health Care Blues: Whom do you turn to for help when you can’t afford to buy a prescription to help you feel better?

Topics include:

Community Pharmacy: An overview of selected county and nonprofit services that provide prescriptions for low-income residents.

Hospital & Patient Assistance Programs: How to get free drug samples as well as access patient assistance programs offered by pharmaceutical companies.


Track C1: Employment: Focus on Jobs: Helping low-income residents succeed in the marketplace. Topics include:

Who’s Working and Where: This workshop presents employment statistics, job trends, and implications for Montgomery County.

What’s Working: Best practices in training and counseling programs.


Track D1: Caregivers Clinic: Focus on Capacity-Building. Covers topics to help providers become better at what they do.

 Topics include:

New Normal: An overview of what it takes to manage nonprofits in times of budget cuts and decreased donations.
 
Maximize Resources: Provides helpful hints for effective use of volunteers, boards, and grants to do more with less.
